Independence Heights

A neighborhood with a name it earned.

We chose Independence Heights for what it already is: one of Houston's most historic communities, minutes from everything, with a character most master-planned suburbs will never have. By design.

The story

History you can stand on.

In 1915, Independence Heights became the first incorporated Black municipality in Texas — a community founded, governed, and built by its own people. That history is the ground these streets stand on, and any house built here should be built with respect for it. Ours are.
